Hello 4th Graders! 

 Thank you for checking out my page. I would like to take a moment to introduce myself.  My name is Mr. Hershey and I will be your 4th grade teacher this year. This is my 4th year teaching at Franklin Academy. I was a substitute teacher for 2  years and full-time for 2 years. I cannot wait to meet you!

    I was born and raised in Miami, FL making me a true Native Floridian. I graduated from Barry University in 1997.

    In my spare time, I love to attend and watch my younger son compete in swim meets on his swim team and travel. I am married and have two sons, one of which attends Franklin Academy.

    My goals as a teacher are to create a safe, fun, inspiring and empowering learning environment with the right tools to help you grow academically and socially. I am dedicated to giving all of you the opportunity to achieve your full potential.
