Hello 4th Graders! 

    Thank you for visiting my page. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Jennifer Calvin and I will be your 4th grade teacher this year. Yay! This is my third year teaching at Franklin Academy and I can't wait to meet you!

    I was born in New-York but was raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. I graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University in 2008 and I speak three languages fluently: French, Haitian Creole and English!

    In my spare time, I love to read, watch home improvement shows on HGTV, and paint. I also love to travel and discover new cultures. However, the best thing about me is that I recently became a mom to a little girl, Arielle.

    My goals as a teacher is to create a safe, fun, inspiring and empowering learning environment with the right tools to help you grow academically and socially. I am dedicated to giving all of you the opportunity to achieve your full potential.
